AWARD CRITERIA

Accomplishments can be measured in many ways, with publications and presentations given primary importance. If properly documented, work published (or formally accepted for publication) or presented at a conference within the six‐year eligibility period will be considered in the evaluation process.

The judges will evaluate the work’s impact regarding its ability to broaden, extend, and alter how POM is conceptualized, practiced, and viewed. The judges are not required to give awards if applicants do not meet the standards they establish.

For this award, there will be at most two recipients. The first-place winner gets a prize of Rupees 20,000.00, and the runner‐up receives a prize of Rupees 10,000.00.  If both winners tie up for the first place, then each winner will get a prize of Rupees 15,000.00. Awards will not be given if the nominees do not meet the standards. The winner(s) of the award will be notified by November 15th, 2024, and the award plaque and cheque will be presented during the awards function at the conference.
