Doctoral Colloquium
ABOUT
The Doctoral Colloquium is a part of the POMS India International Conference 2024. The colloquium will provide a platform for the scholarly exchange of innovative thoughts and clarify individual doubts from production and operations management experts. The colloquium is planned on the first day (4th December 2024) of the POMS India International Conference 2024 in Ranchi, India. It also features three doctoral paper awards.
The colloquium will be chaired by eminent production and operations management professors (Prof. Sriram Narayanan, Michigan State University, and Prof. Debjit Roy, IIM Ahmedabad)

CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
The colloquium is open to all PhD students from India and abroad. The doctoral students must submit a full-length paper on the conference’s theme, “Reimagining Future of Operations for Resilience and Sustainability in a Digital World”. All full paper submissions will undergo a rigorous peer review and will receive individual feedback for paper improvement.
DOCTORAL PAPER AWARDS
Among the submitted full papers, the top three papers will be selected for presentation during the colloquium and will be awarded doctoral paper awards. Apart from the selected top three papers, the remaining papers will be transferred to the regular tracks for presentation.
PROCEDURE FOR PAPER SUBMISSION
The paper must be submitted in Word or PDF format. The length of the paper should be around 5,000 to 8000 words. The POMS conference will not publish these papers, allowing authors to submit them to any journal that meets their requirements.
